Collection: Boxing Wraps

When you punch, your hand experiences all sorts of strong and unusual forces that it simply doesn’t encounter elsewhere. While the padding of boxing gloves helps to deaden these impacts, the soft tissues of your hand could do with some extra support. That’s where boxing hand wraps come in.

Boxing wraps are designed to increase the structural integrity of your hand while you punch – they align the joints of your hand and offer support to the muscles, ligaments and other soft tissues while they are subjected to repeated, powerful impacts.

At GymQuip, home to Australia’s largest fitness showroom, we boast a huge selection of the best boxing wraps, gloves, pads and training equipment. We also have the on-site expertise you need to find the perfect equipment for your boxing regime.

Not in Canberra? Not a problem. Browse our boxing wraps online and enjoy Australia-wide delivery, a generous shipping and returns policy, and our famous price beat guarantee – if you find one of our products at a lower price, we’ll beat it.

Boxing Wraps FAQs

Do you really need boxing wraps?

The short answer is yes: you should always wrap your hands when you box. If you don’t, you put yourself at greater risk of injury. Trust us when we say that you only realise how ‘handy’ your hands are when you can no longer use them.

How do I choose boxing wraps?

Boxing wraps come in two main forms: lengths of cloth that you manually wrap around your hands, and ‘quick wraps’ that you put on like a pair of gloves. Both give your hands extra support, but while a quick wrap is more convenient, it doesn’t offer as much protection as a properly fitted cloth wrap.
